We are looking for a Bookkeeper who can jump right in and get started! We are looking for someone who is excited about where the industry is moving and wants to be a part of this change and development together with our firm.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Bank Reconciliation and resolving queries using Xero
- Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for ensuring all queries are answered and deadlines are met
- Accounts payable and receivable reconciliations
- End of Month / Management Reporting
- Preparation of ATO required compliance including BAS, IAS, TPAR, SGC Statements
- Payroll processing and management
- Lodgement of statutory obligations including Superannuation, Workcover Declarations, Payroll Tax
- Set up of Accounting Systems in Xero, including rescue work and cleanups
- Assist with implementation and support of Xero Add ons
- Cashflow management and projections
- Reviewing work
- Direct client support
- Contribute to the team as a whole, supporting them and drawing on their knowledge and experience
The ideal candidate will have experience and skills as follows:
- Hold a Cert IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in the same or similar role with at least 2 years of experience using Xero
- An understanding of debits and credits and accounting principles
- Easy-going and approachable attitude
- Confident on the phone, in a video call and in-person
- Excitement and passion for small business and a drive to help clients understand their numbers
- Ability to divide attention and work across multiple clients in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to consider things holistically when problem-solving
- Have a love for technology, efficiency and streamlining processes
- Willingness to collaborate with and support your team
