Bookkeeper – Permanent Part Time
We have a position available for a Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. A permanent part-time position that requires the candidate to work three days a week. Comtel Technologies supply, install and maintain a wide range of electronic systems used in the healthcare industry such as aged care and hospitals.

Reporting directly to the managing director, this role requires individuals to set the benchmark for success. This exciting opportunity requires an individual with drive, enthusiasm, and initiative.
Your day-to-day duties will primarily include.
- Banking (inc. reconcile accounts, enter remittance and other transactions into MYOB and coordinate creditor payments etc.).
- Reconcile staff credit card expenses.
- Invoicing.
- Maintain Maintenance contract invoices and update report.
- Ensuring stock levels correspond with MYOB quantities.
- Statements.
- Process stock adjustments and progress payment invoices etc. for projects.
- Process creditors’ invoices and make price adjustments etc. as required.
- Process all taxation, Workcover and superannuation payments and documentation and enter into MYOB as required.
- Credit Control (inc. follow up with clients and advise staff of any customers on credit hold etc.).
- Process wages (if required).
- Reconcile stock take and make any necessary adjustments.
- Process customer credit applications (inc. checking trade references etc.).
- Other administration and accounting tasks including, but not limited to, responding to customer inquiries, maintaining petty cash and reimbursing staff and other duties etc.).
Ideally the successful candidate will be an experienced bookkeeper that is looking to cut back on working a full week or an individual looking for stable employment with an established company. This is a role for the type of person that pays attention to detail and gets enjoyment from solving problems.

- Experience with all aspects of bookkeeping and MYOB accounting package would be advantageous but not essential.
