As a Collections Officer, you will play a pivotal role in achieving monthly collection targets and aged debt goals by maintaining strong relationships with our key accounts, daily reconciliation of accounts, collection of debts, customer queries and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities:
- Debt collection, including negotiating arrears payment arrangements within Paramount guidelines.
- Reviewing daily order report and working with customers to ensure payments are received.
- Reviewing debtors and ensure timely collections to hit weekly/monthly targets.
- Ensuring weekly statements are sent to customers and payments are taken where required.
- Reconciling and resolving any account discrepancies.
- Working with the Collections Supervisor to review accounts, client payments, credit history and manage customer risk.
- Adding input and value to continuous improvement projects.
- Liaising with customers regarding general enquiries.
About You:
- 5 + years of experience within an accounts receivable/credit management role in a high-volume environment.
- Strong communication with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders, internally and externally.
- Highly skilled negotiator, utilising a blend of empathy and assertiveness to achieve positive outcomes.
- Process driven with a results-oriented mindset.
- Impeccable administration skills with a high attention to detail
- Extremely organised with a knack for solving problems.
- Proficient with Excel and large-scale ERP systems.
