Accounting Manager

About the Role:

As an Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our finance and accounting department, particularly in the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, and the preparation of financial statements. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will handle various accounting and related activities on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain supplier invoices and process them accurately on a regular basis.
• Verify that the activity has been performed and that the invoices are properly coded, authorised, and matched to purchase orders or contracts.
• Prepare and process payments in a timely manner.
• Maintain regular communication with suppliers to resolve invoicing discrepancies and address payment-related queries.
• Assist in managing vendor relationships, including setting up new vendors and updating vendor information as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of supplier invoices and ensure proper documentation is filed and archived.
• Prepare monthly BAS.
• Support the Financial Controller with budget/financial statement/budget preparation and ad-hoc financial tasks.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable, with experience in handling multi-currency transactions.
• Proficiency in accounting software (preferably NetSuite) and Excel.
• Knowledge of GST.
• Good organisational, interpersonal and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• CA/CPA qualified with current professional membership is a plus.
• Chinese language skills is a plus.
