About Our Client: Our client, a dynamic organization based in Beresfield, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Permanent Bookkeeper to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards.
Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents in a timely manner.
Manage and monitor cash flow to ensure efficient financial operations.
Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Utilize Work in Progress (WIP) accounting techniques to monitor project profitability and expenses.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of financial data at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably with Australian standards accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, or QuickBooks.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience with Work in Progress (WIP) accounting is desirable.
