We are a local building company based in Tweed Heads and are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team, permanent part-time position 5-10 hours per week, with the opportunity for further hours.
Key Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience in an accounts role
• Experience in both accounts payable & receivable
• Working knowledge of MYOB
• Experience and knowledge working with Microsoft Word and Excel
Ideal skills:
• Excellent time management
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to liaise with team members.
• Confidence in dealing with clients, subcontractors & suppliers
• Excellent work ethic & work attitude
• Attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform payroll functions including weekly wages, salaries, staff entitlements, superannuation, etc.
• Weekly processing of debtor invoices.
• Reconcile bank accounts.
• Pay suppliers.
• Maintain Vehicle records
• Answer phones, general administration and adhoc duties as required
