As we expand, we're looking for a skilled Part-Time Bookkeeper who is not only adept at managing finances but also comfortable handling General Office Administration tasks. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional looking to balance work with personal commitments, such as school runs.

Position Summary:

This part-time position (20 - 25 hours per week) is ideal for an experienced bookkeeper who thrives in both financial management and Office Administration. You'll join our finance team, contributing to our financial operations while also supporting our physical office needs in Cremorne.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: All finance duties will be under the supervision and direction of our friendly Finance Officer - you will be here to take an ever-growing load off her plate! This means an ability to handle tasks such as invoicing, payroll, and debt collection. Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and perform bank reconciliations using Xero. Being at least a little bit tech-savvy is helpful, as we are a tech-focused company that builds many custom tools and automations.
  • Office Administration: Assist with office supply management, General Office duties, and some personal assistant tasks for our founder.
  • HR Support: Basic knowledge or experience in HR practices will be beneficial but not essential in managing HR-related administrative tasks.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Help ensure compliance with legal standards and contribute to financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Essential: Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience, proficient in using Xero for financial tasks.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Stripe; Experience in Office Administration, with a knack for multitasking and maintaining a high level of organisation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Professionalism: High standards of confidentiality and a commitment to professional integrity.
