We are looking for a reliable and friendly Bookkeeper/Accounts Clerk to join our Bookkeeping Team. They will be responsible for a number of small to medium businesses and will assist them with their general bookkeeping requirements and ongoing BAS/IAS and Super obligations.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Xero and MYOB accounting data entry
- Knowledge of Handisoft
- Processing payroll/super via Xero, Sage, Myob and ATO Portal
- Monthly reconciliations
- BAS/IAS compliance
- Liaising with clients on a daily basis
Skills:
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Pro active approach to problem solving
- Ability to manage multiple files at once
- Sound understanding of accounting principles
- Sound knowledge of cloud accounting ie Myob, Xero, Sage an advantage but not a must
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- A minimum Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) would be an advantage but not a must
