About the Role
As an Accountant/Bookkeeper/Legal Accounts Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the firm's office and trust accounts. Duties will include;
- Trust receipts, payments, bank reconciliation, journals, transfers, end of year reporting - preparing and lodging statement of trust moneys, liaising with Auditor and other stakeholders.
- Controlled Money Accounts.
- Office receipts, payments, reconciliations, credit card reconciliation.
- Payroll and Superannuation processing and payments.
- PAYG.
- Creditor invoices.
- BAS.
About You
- You MUST have experience with trust accounting, ideally legal trust accounting.
- Advanced technical skills including in MS Office and legal practice management systems ie Smoke Ball Trust Accounting (or similar), MYOB and/or Xero.
- Highly developed communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
