Mundarda Childcare Centre is seeking aBookkeeper/Administrator to join our vibrant team. We are a not-for-profit centre located in the Armadale area that believes in providing exceptional care to our children and their families.
This part time role is available to start ASAP. It requires 10 hours per week with Tuesdays (fortnightly) being needed for the payroll run. However, the rest of the hours have some flexibility and we are happy to discuss this with our successful candidate.
Bookkeeper/Administration responsibilities:
- Record & monitor day to day financial transactions.
- Account Receivables/Payable in a timely manner.
- Payroll processing STP, PAYG and Superannuation reconciliations
- Preparation of BAS.
- Liaising with management team & management committee.
- Handles sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
- Monitoring Inboxes (email and physical).
- Processing Purchases once approved.
- Acquiring Quotes.
- Any further ad hoc admin assistance as required by Management.
Essential Attributes:
- 3 years accounting and payroll experience
- 12 months Xero experience.
- Excellent Computer Skills (MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail & time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Great team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Personable, approachable, and professional.
- Aptitude for third party portals.
