Private Properties manages some of Western Australia’s most exclusive short stay holiday homes with a portfolio of more than 100 properties. We are family-owned, with staff who are passionate about the business and the amazing holiday homes we represent.
We are seeking a dynamic part time Senior Bookkeeper/Finance Administrator to join our Property Services division.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Processing and managing AP and AR
- Processing fortnightly payroll and superannuation
- BAS and PAYG lodgement
- Bank reconciliations
- Month end process ensuring accurate and timely preparation of client invoices, P&L and Balance Sheet
- Trust accounting reconciliations and Trust accounting coverage
- Assisting with budget preparation, cost control and cash flow forecast
- Supporting the management team with financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax and payroll laws
- Reviewing internal financial controls and processes
The right candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Advanced use of Xero/Excel and senior bookkeeping skills
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position
- A can-do attitude, willingness to learn new systems and continually strive for improvement and efficiencies
- Work autonomously and in a team environment
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritise work and meet targets and deadlines
- Strong organisational skills
- Available 24-32 hours per week.
Remuneration will be commensurate with skills and experience.
