Position Title:
Brand Manager, Canada (18-Month Contract)

Role Objectives:
Develop and implement brand and retail strategies supporting objectives for the Canadian market; including leading marketing and promotional programs, brand and product life cycle management, and agency and key stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications:
· A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a brand management, marketing, or similar role.
· Must hold relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field e.g. Bachelor of Marketing.
· Experience or knowledge of the toy industry and consumer marketing would be highly regarded.
Responsibilities:
Brand Management
- Develop and execute marketing strategy and tactics for brands to achieve objectives.
- Lead competitive reviews to create pricing & line architecture, identifying any gaps or white-space opportunities.
- Lead retail distribution with a clear understanding of the size of opportunity.
· Experience developing and maintaining digital and social campaigns.
- Lead day-to-day management of agency, agency briefings and campaign management.
- Analyse brand performance on a regular basis, tracking performance and impact to marketing campaigns.
- Conduct post-analysis of key activities and campaigns and communicate results for improvements of future programs.
- Regularly analyse market conditions and competitive landscape through in-store visits, data and report findings to relevant team members.
Business Planning
- Collaborate with Canada team to set annual financial goals in line with company objectives.
- Create strategy for brands, including product line architecture, retailer distribution strategy, and promotional activities.
- Strong financial acumen, including managing budgets, financial reporting, pricing, and negotiation.
- Adept in monthly forecasting and inventory review
- Liase with Global stakeholders to ensure Canadian market requirements are considered at all key milestones.
- Drive external stakeholder relationships ensuring strong results or deliverables are met.
Sales Team Support
- Collaborate with sales team to present marketing plans and new toy ranges to retail buyers.
- Assist in planning and execution of promotional events and materials such as Toy Fair, customer presentations, and trade shows.

Work Hours
8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Thursday
8:30am – 3:00pm, Friday
30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.
Plus, reasonable additional hours due to multiple time-zones.
Moose also provides flexible working options.
Travel
Travel is required 15% within Ontario and internationally
Salary Band
CAD $85,000-$100,000

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and other office productivity machinery, may need to reach, stoop, kneel to access items
