The role:
The Brand Manager is responsible for the management of the Brand team and overseeing the planning, design, execution, and delivery of brand projects and initiatives. This role bridges the gap between the strategic vision set by the Head of Brand and Marketing and the practical implementation of the brand strategy.
Reporting to the Head of Brand and Marketing, this role is based in in Belmont on a permanent full-time basis.
Some of the responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Collaboratively design, refine, and implement the organisation’s brand strategy
Oversee the planning, budgeting and continuous improvement of brand initiatives
Act as the brand champion, overseeing in its successful application within and outside the organisation
On a regular basis, analyse brand performance to identify trends and areas needing improvement to ensure our market share and brand equity measures meet or exceed objectives
Proactively educate the organisation in the value of and different approaches to building a strong brand
Utilise a combination of qualitative and quantitative data insights to identify brand building opportunities, anticipate market changes, and make evidence-based decisions
Monitor and manage reports to ensure they have the knowledge, skills and abilities to achieve personal and performance objectives and build a positive team environment
Ensure function budget is managed within the ambit of the agreed budget
Ensure function performance, KPIs and business metrics are communicated to line manager on a weekly or bi-weekly basis as determined by the line manager
Build and maintain the necessary technical expertise, capability and capacity for the function to fulfil function objectives and maintain high professional standards
Skills and Attributes required:
Bachelor’s degree in Brand Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Demonstrated relevant experience in managing team/ people in the ambit of this position
C Class drivers’ license
Demonstrable ongoing professional development in the field of brand management
Demonstrated people management and leadership experience at a manager or team leader level
Proven track record in leading high performing teams
High level verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills including evidence of building networks and collaborative working arrangements with diverse stakeholder groups
Established analytical and problem-solving skills including proven ability to analyse and understand complex information, business processes and concepts
