Job Description:

Our client is a globally renowned provider of security system solutions and services. They are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. This position entails spearheading business expansion efforts and cultivating strategic alliances within the education sector.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic plans to grow business within the education vertical, focusing on K-12 schools, universities, and educational institutions.
• Identify and engage with key stakeholders in the education sector to understand their needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry associations.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create tailored solutions for the education sector.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in education.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase solutions to clients.
• Work with marketing teams to develop campaigns and activities to generate leads.
• Monitor sales performance and customer feedback for optimization.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on Business Development activities.
• Represent us at industry events to network and promote our solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Proven track record of driving business growth in the education sector.
• Strong understanding of education industry trends and challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with analytical skills.
• Experience in technology solutions, preferably in security or surveillance.
• Self-motivated with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to travel within Australia and New Zealand.
