Job Description: As a Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes to a high standard, ensuring our guests start their day with a delicious and nutritious meal. Your role will involve:
- Planning and preparing a variety of breakfast dishes, including hot and cold options
- Ensuring all food is cooked to perfection and presented beautifully
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborating with other kitchen staff and team members
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook breakfast items such as eggs, bacon, pancakes, pastries, and fruit platters
- Ensure timely and efficient service during breakfast hours
- Monitor stock levels and manage inventory
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Assist in menu planning and development
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and breakfast cuisine
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Certification in Culinary Arts or a relevant field is preferred
- Food Handling and Safety certification
