This is an exciting time to join Nine Radio. We are about to embark on a challenging journey as we rebuild and reposition our broadcast operations for the future. As a Broadcast IT Support Specialist you will be responsible for all aspects of support for the Nine Radio Broadcast systems.  Your key purpose will be to support all stakeholders that are dependent on the systems and services. You will also contribute to your team with a commitment to knowledge transfer, documentation and user training. 

Day to day you will: 

  • Provide prompt, in-depth technical support of Radio Broadcast systems and services
  • Manage the lifecycle of all incidents of assigned Broadcast systems and services
  • Take ownership of the design, implementation and support of assigned Broadcast systems and services
  • Manage the lifecycle of all incidents, requests, change initiatives and system upgrades of assigned Broadcast systems and services
  • Meet regularly with stakeholders to develop and adapt workflows, systems and services to meet business objectives

This role will require you to be available for the morning shift 5am-1.30pm Monday to Friday . You may also be required to assist with the on-call roster as required (1 week in 5, 6pm-5am Mon to Fri).

You will be a customer-focussed individual with the ability to deliver first class service, particularly in difficult situations. Your ability to stay calm under pressure and deliver results will be key to your success in building trusted relationships. You will be an innovative thinker, committed to staying up to date with the latest technology, and capable of delivering solutions to complex problems. 

What we would like to see on your resume:

  • Experience working as part of a successful IT Support team team within the broadcast radio industry 
  • Exposure to high-pressure work environments and a proven ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to ‘think on your feet’ to make fast and effective decisions 
  • Broad knowledge and troubleshooting skills with radio broadcast and IT systems 
  • LAWO and/or AXIA experience would be beneficial
  • IT qualifications preferred, but not essential
