About the Role
As part of our Broker Support team, you’ll collaborate closely with the Senior Brokers to assist clients, making well-informed recommendations based on assessments of their financial information. This role has the opportunity for consistent career progression and professional development, as well as the chance to grow within a high-performing team that will support you to succeed. Please note that experience in banking/finance is essential in this role.
About You
You might feel like you’ve hit a glass ceiling in your current role or have been looking for an opportunity with a pathway that has the potential for consistent career development. You have previous experience in mortgage broking and have a sound understanding of credit and lender policies. You can establish and maintain relationships with clients, team members, and other relevant stakeholders. You have outstanding attention to detail and are willing to get stuck in and help out wherever needed, contributing to the seamless functioning of our Broking team and achieving collective goals. The ideal candidate is someone who has a positive attitude, high motivation, and a strong work ethic.
Main Responsibilities
- Assisting with data collection and database management, as well as other administrative tasks.
- Following up with clients to obtain information required to provide our services.
- Reviewing bank policies and products to find solutions for our clients.
- Analysing financial information to complete servicing calculators and affordability assessments.
- Taking initiative to solve problems, manage risk, and provide support to the team of brokers.
- Following and practicing the company’s compliance procedures.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Delivering outstanding client service.
