Broker Support Officer

Due to the growth of our client's business and an overwhelming number of leads, we are recruiting for a Broker to support a senior broker and broader team to convert the overwhelming number of leads approaching the business. You’ll be process-driven and systematic with a desire and motivation to want to progress your career as a broker. 
We are looking for a friendly, motivated and engaging individual, who is keen to help them achieve their goals and exceed client's expectations.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Assist the Senior Broker in reviewing clients’ programs prior to renewal
• Negotiate terms and conditions with approved Underwriters for new business, endorsements & renewals
• Manage a portfolio of clients where required
• Undertake general broking support tasks and provide customer service through timely action of client requests
• Complete processing tasks utilising the Insight system and other industry portals
• Ensure financial service provided complies with the relevant industry requirements and codes

We are looking for someone with:

• Broking experience preffered, insurance experince
• Knowledge of commercial risks including BPK’s, heavy motor and mobile plant policies
• Exposure to/experience with heavy motor and/or mobile plant clients
• Comfortable dealing with a diverse range of clients and communication styles
• Strong desire to grow with the business and develop their broking career
• Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
