Building Surveyor / Technical Consultant

The successful applicant must possess excellent communication skills, be able to effectively prioritise workload, have impeccable attention to detail and be committed to providing an exceptional client experience.  The role consists of the following duties:

• Assess and prepare building permit documentation for Class 1 & 10 and 2-9 projects;
• Attend mandatory inspections with RBS or independently, if registered;
• Liaise with stakeholders, both verbal and written;
• Provide technical assistance to clients;
• Carry out related building permit administration duties;
• Assist in coordinating inspection bookings.

Qualification / Skills

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role (residential and commercial) - we will consider all levels of experience;
• Completion of relevant Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree qualification;
• Sound knowledge of current Victorian Building Act, Standards and Regulations, NCC;
• Computer literate;
• Excellent written skills;
• Confident communication skills and client engagement;
• Exceptional client service delivery skills;
• High attention to detail and accuracy;
• Ability to work within a team and autonomously;
• Dedicated to growing the business name and reputation;
• Enthusiasm and motivation to grow professionally;
• Current and valid driver’s licence.

Salary negotiable and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
