Due to continued growth of our business, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our collaborative Data & Reporting team!
You will possess a strong background in asset finance or finance domain knowledge, with a significant emphasis on leveraging technology to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities. This role requires a unique blend of financial acumen, technical proficiency and communication skills to contribute to the success of our initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Analyse and understand complex asset finance processes, products, and regulations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements related to asset finance operations.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, compliance requirements, and best practices in asset finance.
• Collaborate with the Microsoft-based Data and Reporting Team to ensure seamless integration of asset finance data into reporting systems.
• Leverage Microsoft technologies for data analysis, reporting, visualization and business decision-making.
• Design and implement robust data analysis processes to extract meaningful insights and provide insights into optimizing technology solutions for efficient data management.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, Sales, Operations, IT, and business stakeholders, to align initiatives with overall business objectives.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
Your background
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field.
• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in the asset finance or finance domain.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft-based technologies for data analysis and reporting (e.g., Power BI, Excel, SQL Server).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts between business and technical teams.
