The client is looking for an experienced ICT Business Analyst to work across a diverse range of projects at any one time, preparing deliverables based on project scope. You will be responsible for the analysis, evaluation and documenting of business systems and processes with a focus on business needs and customer experience.
You will be responsible for gathering requirements and translating those needs accurately to the development team, whilst ensuring that best practices and internal quality guidelines are being met. This role will require a high level of detail and supervision in the upkeep of the product and software lifecycle, this will mean providing consistent oversight and proactively identifying and addressing risks.
The role will report to the Director and will be responsible for analysing business processes, identifying alternative solutions, assessing feasibility, and recommending new approaches. You will have the opportunity to design end-to-end solutions, configure SAP modules for ERP implementation, and oversee their successful implementation. Your ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications will be critical in delivering solutions that meet project objectives.
Minimum Requirements: You must hold a relevant bachelor's degree and at least 3 years previous experience in the similar role is must. OR at least five years of relevant work experience.
Responsibilities: In this role your main responsibilities include:
Determine operational objectives by studying business functionality and formulating output requirements, gathering vital information, developing support procedures and strategies for customer systems Analyse and consolidate information to develop business cases to support achievement of business objectives Provide technical expertise and direction in support of system infrastructure and process improvements, diagnosing and resolving complex customer system issues Develop business cases and establish a common approach to manage key project stakeholder escalations to achieve project milestones and agreed project budget Providing advice, guidance and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities Consulting & communicating with developers about the business application requirements & develop functional specifications to be used by software developers Design and document functional and technical requirements and help scope projects by understanding timelines and work Gather business requirements from clients and analyse & design the project timeline & budget. Assist or manage the design phase of ERP implementations Assess customers' reporting requirements and impact on setup of ERP Document requirements for systems (ERP/CRM/Other) Analysing & design the project outlines accordance with the business process to enhance software, process & hardware with detailed analyses, clearly defining problems and solutions for them Organise, specify and model business requirements to ensure they are complete and unambiguous Communicate business changes in appropriate terms to IT/business teams and gain their agreement on the process redesign Setup and configure ERP systems and the accounting aspects in particular Support customers as required (financial & technical) Project & Account management (including creation & updating project/support plans) Define roles, responsibilities, service tiers, documenting process flows Act as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision making process Maintain all required documentation including process maps and specifications to support the business change and development programme Analyse requirements, consult with senior developers and produce viable solutions Support the development and implementation of solutions to meet business requirements Develop a variety of ICT processes, including data structure standards, tech standards, monitoring utilities, optimisation methods to ensure stability and performance Skills and attributes: Excellent understanding of business processes Excellent client management skills Strong documentation skills Demonstrated deep technical knowledge of SAP solutions Strong organisation and prioritizing skills Creative problem solving, analytical thinking, risk handling Skills Superior interpersonal and team management skills Practical knowledge of process analysis tools and techniques Have a strong understanding of good research methodology, item design and data collection Extensive experience in an information technology environment Applications for this opportunity should be forwarded by email to ************@gmail.com Please note only short-listed candidates will be contacted and your application will be treated as strictly confidential.
