We have four roles(two locations)for Business Analysts; assignments willbe for 4-6 months(extension options); the contract roles are with WA State Government departments.

Responsibilities will include:

• Developing, and coordinating business processes in the context of business need and IT system development. 
• Contributing to the development, support, and application of the department’s strategic and functional frameworks.
• Providing advice, support, and assistance for the development and implementation of processes, tools, and techniques related to business planning, business improvement, and project management.
• Conducting high level research and analysis.
• Defining and investigating operational requirements.
• Compiling reports and other documents, searching and creating records, and undertaking analysis using relevant IT software and systems.
• Identifying and contributing to the management of, issues and risks in relation to the branch’s projects and operational work.
• Implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives.
• Supporting quality management principles.
• Establishing schedules and plans to deliver scopes of work.
• Delivering insights and expertise to cross-functional teams.
• Maintaining an understanding and working knowledge of the trends and developments associated with business process analysis.
• Other input as required by the business

You will need:

• Well-developed research, conceptual and analytical skills with the proven ability to analyse information and communicate new ideas and approaches.
• Demonstrated ability, skills, and experience to undertake project work.
• Applied knowledge of current and emerging PM and business analysis methods, tools and techniques.
• Ability to work independently, organise work, and meet targets.
• Strong verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or an equivalent level of skills, knowledge, and experience.
