We have four roles(two locations)for Business Analysts; assignments willbe for 4-6 months(extension options); the contract roles are with WA State Government departments.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing, and coordinating business processes in the context of business need and IT system development.
- Contributing to the development, support, and application of the department’s strategic and functional frameworks.
- Providing advice, support, and assistance for the development and implementation of processes, tools, and techniques related to business planning, business improvement, and project management.
- Conducting high level research and analysis.
- Defining and investigating operational requirements.
- Compiling reports and other documents, searching and creating records, and undertaking analysis using relevant IT software and systems.
- Identifying and contributing to the management of, issues and risks in relation to the branch’s projects and operational work.
- Implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives.
- Supporting quality management principles.
- Establishing schedules and plans to deliver scopes of work.
- Delivering insights and expertise to cross-functional teams.
- Maintaining an understanding and working knowledge of the trends and developments associated with business process analysis.
- Other input as required by the business
You will need:
- Well-developed research, conceptual and analytical skills with the proven ability to analyse information and communicate new ideas and approaches.
- Demonstrated ability, skills, and experience to undertake project work.
- Applied knowledge of current and emerging PM and business analysis methods, tools and techniques.
- Ability to work independently, organise work, and meet targets.
- Strong verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or an equivalent level of skills, knowledge, and experience.
