Job Description
About the role
We are looking for someone to deliver and conduct Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance tests for the MedHealth Group on a monthly and quarterly basis to assess financial reporting controls and procedures.
Some of what you’ll be doing
- Implement processes to support the delivery of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance tests on a fortnightly, monthly and quarterly basis
- Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance tests are carried out within set timeframes as per MedHealth processes and procedures
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to gather appropriate information to support testing
- Reporting and monitoring of non-conformances, working with the relevant business units to ensure timely corrective action
- Provide testing feedback and work with business units to ensure identified areas for improvement are addressed and actioned
- Assist with the development and implementation of new processes to ensure compliance standards
- Review and support the development of internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Actively identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Maintain a customer focus at all times and a commitment to deliver service excellence
Your background
Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary Qualifications in Finance or related is highly desirable
- Knowledge of applicable financial standards highly regarded
- Compliance testing experience highly regarded
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in use of computers and various computer formats
- A demonstrated high level of written and oral communication skills
- Experience within a house of brands business approach, and proficient stakeholder communication within this model
- Ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to deliver and work within set timeframes
