The Generative AI Innovation Center (GAIIC) knows that change is always around the corner, and we embrace it. The GAIIC guides customers to strategically chart a course into the future of AI in ways that differentiate their business and unlock new sources of value.

We are seeking an experienced, customer-obsessed, Business Developer to help effectively communicate the organization’s strategy and vision to our customers, employees, and stakeholders. In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic communications, content, customer references, and coordinating AWS and industry events for the GAIIC team. You will partner with customers, AWS Sales, AWS service teams, AWS industry teams and AWS Professional Services delivery teams to drive the overall messaging and positioning, and help build business value in ways that are scalable, repeatable, and extensible.

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities
• Implement the business development and GTM strategy for the GenAI Innovation Center for the Asia-Pacific, Japan, and GCR region.
• Create and deliver compelling content and sales enablement solutions
• Write clear and concise narratives that capture work and progress across a variety of mediums and channels, and presentations that maintain the AWS brand voice and style.
• Monitor and forecast marketing and sales trends
• Measure the effectiveness of sales, programs, and strategies
• Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data, such as surveys, questionnaires, and opinion polls
• Gather data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions
• Analyze data using statistical software

• Develop internal communications supported by clear narratives that engage organizational employees and leaders.
• Earn trust, provide expert SME, and effectively communicate with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated planning and organizational skills, including ability to identify, develop, and optimize organization processes, playbooks, or tools.
• Ability to create mechanisms and drive alignment and adoption within the organization.
• Ability to think critically and react in a high-energy, fast paced environment.

- Basic qualifications
- • 4+ years’ experience in sales capacity including (but not limited to) sales strategy, enablement, marketing, training/learning, or consultative selling roles
- • 3+ years’ program or project management experience
