THE ROLE
We are seeking a Business Development manager to grow referrals to Seer’s diagnostic service from neurologists and paediatric neurologists and to secure new agreements with hospitals in NSW and ACT.

As the Business Development manager your goal is to increase the visibility and awareness of our company’s service, increase the referral rate, generate new sources of revenue, and assist our clients in achieving their objectives. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grow referrals in your territory
- Establish new partnerships between hospitals and Seer’s diagnostics service
- Build long-term, trusted business relationships with neurologists and epileptologists.
- Manage your territory like your own business and take full accountability for your results
- Work with the broader Business Development team to develop and implement effective business strategies with focus on profitability
- Monitor and analyse data and market conditions to identify trends and gaps in the market
- Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback
- Pursue continuous learning and professional development and stay up to date with latest medical data
- Travel to attend meetings and conferences as required
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of internal functions that improve sales outcomes
ABOUT YOU
- Proven results as a pharmaceutical, medical, or medical device sales representative
- Experience with doctors in neurology and hospital systems highly desired
- Excellent communication, negotiation and selling skills
- Working knowledge of Medicines Australia’s code of conduct and TGA’s advertising guidelines
- Highly motivated and business focused with a proven track record in sales
- A self starter with strong problem-solving skills and solution focused mindset
- Flexible and adaptable to constant change of a fast-growing environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Tertiary qualifications in science or health related field essential.
