Business Development and Sales Manager – Security and Commercial Cleaning
Trojan consultants are a well-established business along the eastern seaboard. We serve multiple sectors within the Security & Cleaning market and wish to expand our business within the hospitality and government sectors. The business has a dynamic management team who are looking to welcome a confident and experienced sales and development manager who will compliment the business’ values and goals.
This role is focused on predominantly gaining new business contracts and following up on new business leads. Once the deal is confirmed a relationship is to be maintained with clients. Working closely with the director and senior management, you will focus on building stronger relationships across the operational space and securing sales with a new and existing client focus. In addition to nurturing relationships through regular visits, understanding their needs and anticipating new market opportunities.
The successful applicant will be required to begin targeting expansion within the areas of NSW. Expanding the business services into new market segments and new customers. Upon success within NSW, the successful applicant will be supported and required to grow the business into other territories across the eastern seaboard.
The ideal candidate will need to be self-motivated and have the ability to build rapport and trust with peers as well as existing and potential clients and be able to work independently. An extensive knowledge of and existing relationships within the security, commercial cleaning, facilities management, strata, hospitality venues, government sectors is preferred.
Must have;
Current driver’s license
Knowledge in complete preparation & Finalisation of tenders
Creative problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and easily adaptable around different cultures and clients
Ability to work autonomously
Minimum 2 years’ experience within a similar role
Minimum 4 years in Commercial Cleaning, Security or Facilities Management
Must have a proven sales track record
Strong computer literacy and high proficiency using Microsoft office

Manage client proposals, contracts and related documents
Managing and maintaining a sales pipeline
Provide accurate and timely feedback on market conditions, customer and project developments
Develop and execute a sales plan to ensure short and long-term objectives for sales, profit and market position are achieved
Salary based on experience. laptop and phone included in package. Commission structure to be evaluated once probation period is passed.
