We are partnering with a cool global e-commerce platform that specializes in food, travel, fashion, consumables products and services etc.
We are urgently recruiting for a maternity leave contract (10 months and may extend) for an experienced new Business Development Manager (independent contributor) who has experience delivers commercial targets, developing and fostering client relationships and pitching for proposals from brands (media agencies) to corporate clients and SMEs.
As a Business Development Manager, you will work alongside a small team of 7 staff in Account and Customer Success Managers in Sydney to develop and drive commercial growth and introduce new business improvements and innovations. This role is hands on, and you will focus predominantly on generating new leads and prospects and work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue attainment.
Your experience
· Proven BDM experience, ideally within the DigitalMarketing or Advertising industry
· Strong track record of achieving/overachieving net new business targets.
· Consultative sales approach with strong negotiation/objection handling skills
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch and articulate complex media plans to clients.
· Great energy and positive forward-thinking individual who has passion for their craft and enjoys collaborating with creative and not creative stakeholders.
· Knowledge of different media channels (incl. digital, print, social etc.)
· Bachelor's degree in a related field would be preferable e.g. Marketing or Business
