About the Role:

RockItCoin is seeking a Business Development Director to support our Business Development efforts during this time of growth and expansion in Australia. Working alongside a dynamic team based in the US, you'll ensure that Business Development objectives align with our goals for Australia, contributing to our mission of making cryptocurrency accessible to all!

In this role, you will lead initiatives from start to finish, meticulously documenting important information, fielding questions, and resolving issues and roadblocks. If you excel in providing outstanding customer support, have a strong understanding of compliance, possess problem-solving skills to uncover root causes, and are resourceful in finding solutions, this role is for you! 

What You Will Do: 

  • Lead all territory expansions to increase the company's presence in Australia.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and actively seek out new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and work cross-functionally with an international team.
  • Act as the liaison between operations and Business Development.
  • Manage retail site locations, resolve issues proactively, and assist with retail acquisitions.
  • Process inbound leads from various channels, gather relevant information and track them in internal databases.
  • Notify the operations team of new host locations to close the sales funnel and initiate the host onboarding process.
  • Proactively follow up with vendors on stale sales leads and directly contact stale organic leads.
  • Respond to internal operations team questions and requests.
  • Act as the main point of contact for vendor and host requests, tracking communication and updates in CRM and databases, and directing inquiries to appropriate internal teams.
  • Cross-reference all incoming leads with the existing network, tracking and resolving discrepancies.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Business Development.

What We Are Looking For: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a sales, account manager, or customer-facing role.
  • Proficiency with Dropbox.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with making and taking sales, operations, and vendor calls, maintaining a personable and friendly demeanor.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously, solving problems resourcefully with minimal supervision.
  • Sense of urgency in responding to internal and external requests.
  • Experienced in cryptocurrency ecosystems with expertise in Bitcoin ATM (BTM) operations.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, adept at prioritization, effective time management, and taking ownership of results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Demonstrates outstanding work ethic, integrity, and commitment.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations such as retail stores, shopping malls, gas stations, and more to build in-person relationships with vendors and expand our business.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, or Spanish is a plus.

  • A confident negotiator, skilled in closing deals and securing business opportunities.
  • A working knowledge of the cryptocurrency ecosystem or a genuine interest to learn about it.
  • Disciplined, organized, and efficient in managing time effectively.
  • Professional, proactive, and adept at clear communication.
  • Capable of handling confidential information with trustworthiness.
  • Experienced in collaborating with international teams in remote environments.
  • Dependable and reliable, with a proactive approach to process improvement.
