At Infinispark, we design and manufacture training and assessment equipment for training organisations that teach Electrical apprentices. Our equipment are used in TAFEs, RTOs, Schools, Defense, Rail, Mining and Electrical Contracting companies
Overview of the Role
This is a highly rewarding role, where you will get to help organisations with a very specific problem that not many businesses can solve. You will get to deal with all levels of stakeholders to understand what's important to them and see how our products can assist them.
Although the equipment is technical, the role mainly requires you to build and maintain customer relationships, and all the technical support you need to sell will be provided. However, having technical knowledge or experience in the Electrical Industry will be highly advantageous.
Qualifications & experience
- At least 3 years of experience in sales, ideally B2B. We will consider it not retail sales, but we will consider it if the experience is in selling high-ticket items.
- Excellent communication skills (English) - verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation and organisation skills.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, emails, internet research and LinkedIn.
- Willingness to learn.
- Positive and pleasing attitude.
- Ability to work in a team or individually.
- Current driving licence.
Desirable, but not a requirement
- A grade Electrician or
- Electrical Engineer (Adv Dip to Masters) or
- Electrically trained Person (Cert III to Dip)
Tasks & responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a list of prospective customers. TAFEs, RTOs, Schools and Colleges and enter into CRM (Pipedrive). Find and populate the list with a contact person(s) and a decision-maker.
- Develop a customer nurturing and follow-up system after getting inbound inquiries and cold leads.
- Set demonstration appointments and nurture till sale. Attend demos, training, conferences, networking events, and exhibitions.
- Assist in developing sales and marketing collateral.
- Build current customer-product matrix.
- Prepare and send quotes, supply agreements and terms to prospective customers.
- Learn about all the products. Training will be provided.
- Build and maintain customer relationships.
- Plan sales strategies, track and achieve sales targets.
- Liaise with external organisations like industry bodies and associations.

- $75k to 85k yearly salary + $17.5k Car Allowance per annum + Super + Uncapped Commission.
