Due to continued growth across Australia, we are looking for an experienced and results-driven sales hunter in Melbourne who is passionate about Data & AI to further build new relationships and extend our client base in Victoria.

Working closely with Exposé Leadership Team, you will be establishing new clients to secure interesting engagements for our team to work on. You will ensure the pipeline of work is best aligned with the skills and capabilities of our team. Building strong, strategic relationships based on integrity, trust and mutual respect and an equally important component of your success will be building internal relationships across the exposé team.

Required skills, knowledge, and experience

  • A proven track record (2+ years) in the acquisition of new business, ideally within data and AI or with a Technology / IT consulting company.
  • Proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities through business value-driven selling to achieve growth. 
  • Maintain strong industry networks for the development of new leads and opportunities.
  • Passionate about building relationships through face-to-face discussions and engagements.
  • A clear understanding of the sales cycle, with the ability to articulate and apply your preferred sales approach across a variety of circumstances.
  • Thriving on high performance, highly organised and self-motivated. 
  • Manage and grow business opportunities within assigned client accounts across your state. 
  • Work as a valued member of the client engagement team ensuring specific industry groupings are serviced. 
  • Socialise with and entertain clients to build relationships beyond day to day meetings and attend industry, client and partner events.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to articulate client values and requirements. 
  • Participation in weekly sales meetings.
  • Provide client connections with the aligned technical consultants that result in winning opportunities through a collaborative working style which encourages team work.
  • Professionally presented with superior interpersonal skills particularly in the area of client management. 
  • A creative problem-solving mindset with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Confident to work autonomously but also a collaborative team player.
  • Exposure to or an understanding of agile work environments.
  • You must be hungry, tenacious and possess a "can do" attitude.
