ABOUT THE ROLE: RFI is seeking an ambitious and proactive team member to join their dynamic team. This role is suitable for an engineering or business graduate interested in selling and Business Development within an engineering environment. The responsibilities include quoting, estimating, researching, and completing tenders. While prior selling skills are advantageous, the company values ambition, high energy, and commitment to exceeding customer expectations. The role encourages collaboration on a global scale with team members from diverse backgrounds, offering a promising career in customer-facing roles with a focus on global supply chain logistics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare quotes and sales proposals based on information obtained from the internal design team in a timely manner.
- Present quotes and sales proposals to the management in a clear and concise manner.
- Maintain an accurate record of past and upcoming tenders. Identify new business opportunities and present them to the manager.
- Follow up with clients regarding submitted offers and provide regular updates to the manager.
- Strive for continuous improvement in interpersonal skills and industry knowledge.
- Be highly motivated and enjoy multi-team collaboration in a dynamic environment.
- Build rapport with customers and effectively uncover their service needs with attention to detail and immaculate presentation.
DESIRED ABILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Sound or developing business acumen.
- Quick learner with an interest in understanding in-building mobile coverage systems technology and RFI internal processes.
- Effective communication skills, both individually and as part of diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Efficient task management and prioritization skills.
- Prior entry-level experience and/or understanding of telecom networks is a plus.
