Position Overview:
The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in driving growth and generating prospect interest and sales. Reporting directly into the Director, the key responsibilities include identifying new targets, compiling target lists, generating leads, and developing quality relationships and networking with relevant business associates in the industry. The successful candidate will be a proactive, responsible and strategic thinker.
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, cold calling, networking events, and referrals within the commercial real estate industry.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients by leveraging industry knowledge and market insights.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive analysis within the commercial property sector.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with real estate occupiers, tenant representatives, leasing agents, and other key industry stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and pain points to provide tailored solutions and effectively communicate the value proposition of our transaction management services within commercial real estate.
- Ensure client satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Attend industry conferences and networking events to expand professional networks and generate leads within the commercial real estate industry.
- Participate in industry associations and forums to enhance visibility and establish thought leadership in the market.
- Take the lead in organizing client events to foster meaningful connections and showcase our expertise.
- Previous experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role within the property industry.
- Existing relationships with real estate occupiers, tenant representatives, leasing agents, and other key industry professionals would be advantageous.
- Some knowledge of transaction management processes, lease negotiations, and/or commercial fit outs is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team to achieve business objectives.
- Understanding of the sales cycle and be self motivated.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
