About the Company We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Manager specializing in dietary supplements to join the team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the growth and success of their dietary supplement product line through strategic Business Development initiatives.
This role requires a deep understanding of the dietary supplement industry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in expanding market presence.
- In this role, you will be primarily focusing on communicating with potential customers to build a robust sales pipeline.
- You will collaborate with internal teams including logistics, customer service, and product managers to ensure smooth information exchange for customer evaluation, usage, and after-sales service.
- Other key responsibilities include market entry planning, budgeting, attending relevant trade shows and conferences, and developing and implementing sales strategies for the market.
- Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, negotiation, and market analysis within the food, supplement, or infant nutrition industry.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- A passionate interest in innovative products, particularly in the dietary supplement market.
- Proactive in creating market development opportunities and seeking out new customers across the Australian marketplace.
- An ability to anticipate future demands by engaging with trend-leading products.
- A proven track record of success in sales and Business Development, ideally with relevant tertiary qualifications (degree level preferred).
