Position & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Managing Director the Business Development Manager will be responsible for;

  • Proactively engaging with Tier 1 & Tier 2 Electrical Contractors to identify project opportunities. 
  • Developing relationships with key project branches in the wholesale market to pull-though projects and build credibility to create additional opportunities
  • Promote the business with integrity, whilst building and developing strong customer relationships
  • Educating customers on all manufactured and distributed products and solutions
  • Manage opportunities through the project process from the Electrical Contractor through to the Wholesaler
  • Achieve predefined sales target/budget for the territory

Requirements
The successful applicant will ideally possess the following skills and experience;

  • Demonstrated project sales / Business Development experience in the lighting or electrical industry is essential to the role
  • Referenceable relationships with Tier 1& Tier 2 Electrical Contractors in the local market
  • Proven and demonstrated track record of sales success.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to and influence customers.
  • Committed, self-motivated individual with a proven ability to manage a sales territory
  • Self-starter, possessing a passion for excellence and the proven ability to identify new business opportunities.
  • Have the proven and demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to priorities key activities.
