Blue Lion Moving Services is seeking a passionate and energetic individual to join our team as the Business Development Manager for NSW.
Located in Glendenning, Blue Lion Moving Services is a national moving and storage company and is a leader in our industry. As such we are looking for a candidate to fulfil a diverse range of skills to join our team.
The right person will be self-driven with a keen eye for detail and communicates well both in verbal and written format. They will be confident in nature and very well organised and able to build quality relationships with clients and suppliers.
Day to day activities will include Business Development calls to prospective clients and follow up calls to existing clients. Inspections on client sites for quoting and project management meetings, preparing quotes, tender documents, scope of works, and attending site on move day to ensure a smooth and seamless relocation to ensure customer expectations are not only met, but exceeded. You will be working closely with the team in Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane.

Reporting directly to the National Customer Service Manager duties will include:
• Identify potential clients and identifying new business opportunities
• Gathering requirements, creating proposals and tender responses and presenting them to clients
• Liaising with the Operations Managers to create and deliver solutions
• Being aware of any new opportunities with existing or potential clients
• Attending networking and promotional events
• Directing and controlling the operational efficiency of projects to exceed sales, profit and service objectives.
• Servicing and maintaining our current client base as well as seeking out new clients to expand our business.
• Attend to Business Development activities to drive additional sales locally.
• Ensuring compliance with all procedures and further enhance a strong WHS culture.
• Managing and maintaining existing client accounts
• End to end project management and delivery of moves and projects

Recent experience managing projects, including the development of scope, schedule and budget and the subsequent monitoring of cost and schedule
Sound understanding of resource planning across multiple projects and teams
