About Realm & the Role:
Realm is an Australian fixed income fund manager with over $5 billion AUM, encompassing both domestic and global assets across public and private markets. Since our establishment in 2011, we have emerged as one of the fastest-growing and best-performing fixed income fund managers in the Australian market.
This is a new growth hire after significant growth over the past few years. We are looking for a driven sales professional in Melbourne who has strong client facing attributes and the ability to become a product specialist in Fixed Income.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive growth across Realm product suite within the intermediary market (IFAs, Private Banks, Family Offices etc.).
- Cultivate and build on existing firm relationships.
- Attend weekly investment committee and daily investment and market whip meetings.
- Travel interstate and regionally to service client base.
- Collaborate with the broader distribution and investment teams and reporting in to Head of Distribution.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- +5 years’ experience in financial markets and Sales, ideally directly in funds management or a related industry.
- An understanding of the intermediary market in Australia through a related industry will be favourable.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage key external and internal stakeholders.
- A strong understanding and keen interest in financial markets, preferably Fixed Income.
