Invest SA is a dedicated team of investment and business professionals within the Department for Trade and Investment that can connect you with opportunities, industry networks, and other government agencies in the defence and space sectors in South Australia.
The Role:
Working closely with Director Defence and Space, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our dedicated Defence and Space team to support investment initiatives across South Australia. This role reports directly to the Director of Defence and Space, where you will be responsible for identifying capabilities, preparing high level complex reports and support the planning of inbound and outbound missions.
About You:
To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate experience across the following key capabilities:
- Experience in Investment project delivery.
- Proven experience working within Defence and/or Defence and Space industry at a senior level.
Desirable Qualification:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Commerce, Economics, Business or Project Management, or similar.
Special Conditions:
Successful applicants will be required to obtain a satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check prior to employment. A renewal will be required every 3 years.
Successful applicants will also be required to obtain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency NV1 security clearance.
Remuneration:
AS08 – $119,000 min – $123, 822 max
