The OpportunityIn this dynamic role, you'll drive collaboration across the business, cultivate innovative business models, and secure profitable deals off the back of our engagement with customers and their opportunities that align with our growth aspirations. - Lead the development and execution of ElectraNet's Business Development plan, driving profitable revenue growth.
- Cultivate innovative business concepts and translate them into actionable deals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure buy-in and successful implementation of new business models.
- Manage complex opportunities from initiation to execution, ensuring adherence to governance and quality standards.
- Lead the engagement and negotiations with customers and stakeholders, exploring and securing commercially sound deals.
- Provide market and industry intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.
The successful candidate will be/have:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant technical, financial, or commercial field (essential).
- A seasoned Business Development professional with significant demonstrable experience in a corporate or Business Development function.
- A strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and executing successful growth strategies.
- A skilled negotiator and influencer with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- An exceptional communicator with a strong command of written and verbal communication skills.
- A highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a passion for the energy sector.
