The Opportunity
With growth comes opportunity, and we have a fantastic position for a highly driven Business Development Manager, who will build and deliver a strong pipeline of prospects, whilst continuing to nurture and support existing business across the NSW region.
Commercially astute, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Ryco’s market presence, taking great pride in working with a renowned and globally recognised brand.
A typical day will see you visit and speak with a diverse range of customers including parts resellers, workshops & commercial vehicle fleets. Your natural ability to establish credibility through your expertise and understanding of the industry will allow you to achieve and maximise growth within a Commercial Vehicle portfolio across diverse distribution channels.
Hands-on, you will also showcase your technical expertise and support the sales process with training and after-sales service, acting as a product specialist across the region.

What we are looking for
As an industry professional you have established a strong reputation for delivering results and developing mutually beneficial partnerships across a competitive market. You are commercially inclined and possess a strong sense of ownership, always ensuring that you provide a solution that is aligned with business objectives and customer requirements.
Ideally you will also have
- Demonstrated experience in a relevant commercial/technical sales role in a B2B environment (ideally 10+ years)
- Trade or formal qualifications in Engineering or related discipline
- Proven track record in building and maintaining true working partnerships with customers
- A proactive and strategic approach to developing and securing new business
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing frameworks, managing tenders, and contracts
- Demonstrated track record of successfully developing and executing sales growth pipelines, converting leads into sales
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce (CRM) preferred
- Willingness to travel as needed within AU (as required)
- Energy and passion with a commitment to being a contributing member of a team
