The successful candidate will:
- Managing existing clients, whilst proactively canvassing for new business opportunities
- Selling to the group and MICE markets
- Actively promoting, generating leads, and cross selling across the Pan Pacific Hotels Group portfolio and work with team members to maximise opportunity
- Working collaboratively with National and Global Sales Teams in selling all facets of Pan Pacific Hotels Group including Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other incremental revenue.
- Driving our success in achieving corporate sales goals by generating new business and growing existing business to achieve budgets
- Provides customer intelligence in evaluating the market and economic trends that may lead to changes in sales strategies
- Communicates and works closely with National and Global Sales Teams to identify need periods and secure new business
- Actively promote the hotel at networking events in the region, developing strong relationships and creating partnerships to further increase brand awareness.
- Develop strong community and public relations by maintaining property participation in local, regional and national tradeshows and client events
Ideally you will have:
- Experience in sales function in a hotel environment or tourism industry (preferred)
- Results orientated and motivated personality
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment of successful hospitality professionals
- Exposure to a variety of markets including corporate and government segments (favourable)
- Proven track record in generating revenue within a corporate sales function
- Experience in managing key client relationships
- Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade and obtain "buy-in" from both internal and external stakeholders
