We seek a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting our 4PL transport and logistics. Our services include wharf transport, domestic and interstate transport, warehousing and distribution and cold storage and distribution.
COMPANY OVERVIEW
MoveIt4u was established in Australia in 2017 as an industry-based solution for streamlining the transport industry. As a 4PL provider, we develop and offer logistics solutions to facilitate and manage the supply chain process. In a 4PL model, an enterprise outsources the management of logistics activities and the execution across the supply chain. The 4PL provider typically offers more strategic insight and management over the enterprise’s supply chain.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the 4PL logistics sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum of 3-5 years industry experience
- Proven track record in Business Development within the logistics industry but would also consider an applicant with a strong operational background seeking an opportunity to enter the commercial sphere.
- Strong understanding of 4PL logistics and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as required.

- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A high level of self-motivation, initiative, and proactivity.
- Able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and solving issues promptly.
- Highly skilled in computers and general technology.
- Excellent communication skills.
- FuII drivers licence
