We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager, who will be at the forefront of our expansion strategy, responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and driving sales activity across Australia. Ability to understand client needs, tailor Commercial Cleaning and integrated Facilities Management Solutions, and effectively communicate our value proposition will be pivotal in achieving and exceeding sales targets. As a passionate sales hunter, you understand the need for constant activity across several existing and emerging business sectors, with the Client First ethos that SCS Group are known for.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business prospects to accelerate revenue growth.
- Cultivate strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Customize cleaning solutions to align with clients' specific needs and requirements.
- Oversee the entire sales process, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform growth strategies.
- Provide regular and accurate sales reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Facilities Management experience or similar industry experience (Essential)
- Proven track record of success in Business Development and achieving sales targets.
- Deep understanding of the Commercial Cleaning and/or integrated Services industry and market dynamics.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and adept at working independently.
- Strong networker with exceptional relationship-building capabilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools.
- Flexibility to travel interstate as required.
