About the Role
As the Business Development Manager, you will report to the National Sales Manager. Your primary objective is to drive sales and profits in South Australia, exceeding set targets. You'll focus on acquiring new customers who contribute high-value, repeat sales and profits to our business.
Your Duties
- Achieve sales growth by offering our current products/services to existing customers within the commercial and residential segment value chains
- Conduct New Business Development initiatives
- Manage a select group of existing customers to ensure continued sales and profit growth
- Maintain up-to-date customer information on the company database within your State
- Collaborate with the internal sales team to optimize "face-to-face" customer interactions
- Continually review and recommend improvements to our sales strategies to maximize sales and profits
Skills and Experience
- 5 years' experience in New Business Development
- Experience within the building industry is preferred
- Strong negotiating skills
- Ability to think outside the box
- Lateral thinking capabilities
- Possess a "can-do attitude
