THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate, energetic, and highly motivated Business Development professional to join Evolution Group!
In this role you will help grow our business and work with your team to exceed targets through expertise and sound negotiating skills. This pivotal role allows you to leverage your expertise within a forward-thinking framework, furthering our commitment to our Core Values.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager – Evolution Traffic Management - Australia utilise your skills and innovative approach to make your mark. This role is perfect for someone who wants to roll up their sleeves up and lead from the front. You will be at ease in providing pricings and negotiations, identifying up-selling opportunities and overseeing quality of service with our national clients. You will understand and drive our Sales funnel and be financially literate with a passion for numbers. You are a natural negotiator that builds strong and long-lasting relationships with our client base.
ETM provides great flexible opportunities and is currently in the market for a motivated and innovative Business Developments Professional.
No two days will be the same in this varied role, where you will:
- Create, deliver and report on an annual Business Development plan, focusing on new business and revenue streams,
- Work closely with Evolution Managers and Stakeholders to secure and build new business opportunities.
- Manage existing clients and employees across a wide range of industries,
- Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders regarding labour requirements
- Implement new marketing strategies to increase awareness of Evolution Group and measure customers experiences and requirements,
- Oversee the management of administration functions; tenders, plans and forecasts to ensure current profitability and business risks are identified and mitigated.
- Champion and track activities on our CRM system (Salesforce and PowerBI)
- Ensure contracts are monitored and profitability maximised by monitoring contract compliance, rates and passing on relevant costs.

ABOUT YOU! ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Strong, Business Development management or account management experience,
- A strong drive and innovative approach to looking at new business, and new opportunities,
- Experience in cold calling / outbound calling
- Experience with face-to-face customer interaction
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical & numerical skills
- Strong negotiating skills
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Outlook and PowerPoint.
