WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?WE HAVE 2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE to sell global leading hospitality solutions and integrations. We are looking for technically orientated Business Development Managers to join our Sales Team and drive our business forward. This is a rare opportunity to join a leading private company that specialises in technical products for the Hospitality industry In Australia. We have an impressive client portfolio, including some of the most prestigious hospitality companies worldwide. We are a solid, secure, family orientated company in business for 30 years, and well known in our market.
Based in Sydney's North-West (Hornsby), you will be reporting to the Sales Manager, but work independently, using your own initiative. You will have three main functions including;
- Prospecting for new business opportunities from proven leads
- Managing all aspects of a large portfolio of prestigious client accounts
- Managing the full sales cycle from “contact” to “close”
Ideally you will have experience in the Construction or the Hospitality market. Ideally you will have experience as a Business Development Manager where the main focus of your role is to prospect and develop new client relationships. Ideally you may have experience with maintaining and developing existing accounts. You will thrive on the challenge of matching technical products to customer needs and budget. You will be relationship orientated, and have the ability to strike up rapport with senior managers and engineers alike. You will need to be extremely personable with exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal.
CRITERIAYou will preferably have a minimum of 2-3 years sales experience working in a similar position and preferably have worked in the Construction, Hospitality or parallel industries. You will need to be a high level communicator and negotiator, an independent thinker, and have the ability to drive positive outcomes.
