OVERVIEW:

We are currently partnered with a privately owned Australian Energy Retailer. They've experienced extraordinary growth in recent years and as a result are looking to expand their team. This role will be focusing on acquiring new customers within the C&I space and growing the business. They are a team of innovative and engaging people, who have a genuine passion to help Australian businesses succeed.

They are currently looking for a Full-Time Business Development Manager to concentrate on the C&I market, helping to grow their portfolio through retention and acquisition. Given their growth trajectory, there are exciting progression opportunities for the successful candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In person appointments supported by outgoing calls to proposed customers in Victoria.
• Working diligently with the back-end operations team to guarantee smooth and efficient customer converting as well as a professional transition experience.
• Build relationships and develop an understanding with business owners and decision makers.
• Working amongst a team while encouraging the sharing of skills and experience, as well as making the correct decisions to always contribute to the success of the business and provide the greatest results.
• Maintain a regular tracker for performance improvements.

YOU WILL HAVE:

• Evident success in the energy industry and an outstanding track record of closing sales.
• Experience in Microsoft and database applications.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, written and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Developed time management and relationship-building skills, as well as being able to deal with people at decision making levels.
• Admirable level of motivation with a superior attention to detail.
