This exciting Business Development Manager position will be based at our Gourmet Food location in Dandenong South, where we manufacture Olina's Bakehouse, OB's Finest and Crispbic. Gourmet Food is fast becoming recognised as the 'entertaining' specialist and is now growing under the ownership of Mondelēz International.
This role supports the Innovation to Market process for Gourmet Food in terms of effective planning and execution of change as it relates to new and existing products, packaging, and processes. At the plant level you will work on change management and innovation management capabilities as a key interface between Supply Chain and Commercial.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Support Project Development and Execution: (Innovation 2 Market; Initiative Management within the site)
- Act as key contact for Commercial stakeholders and act as the key interface between Category and Engineering / Manufacturing / R&D)
- Support Site Strategic Plan / Annual Contract creation: Support the site director in developing the site strategy and plant road map.
- Be the key partner for Product Supply team on sourcing and capacity expansion
- Drive Ongoing business and Simplification: Integrate overall site change management agenda to ensure delivery of projects while maintaining service levels.
- Lead, coach and build Capability within the plant and across all operational functions

- Strong operational & manufacturing experience in FMCG industry
- Good understanding of end-to-end processes in the manufacturing and business environment; working knowledge of commercialization process; project leadership / management skills and technical and financial aspects of the business
- Strategic thinking, while having ability to excel in leading tactical programs
- Highly action oriented, drive for results, innovative, entrepreneurial ability
- Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment
- Demonstrated abilities in analytics, problem solving and team building
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
