As the Business Development Manager, you will report to the General Manager and work on drumming up new business across Australia. Responsibilities include creating targeted strategies, visiting potential Clients, attending trade show displays and networking events, and bringing onboard new business.
Responsibilities:

- Reach out and engage with new Clients via targeted campaigns.
- Stay on top of market trends to best align sales focus.
- Develop strategies for the best marketing options.
- Explain and demonstrate product functionality.
- Attend industry events to promote the company and what it can offer.
- Build relationships with new and existing Clients.
- Contribute to the growth of the company by securing new contracts.
- Minimum of 5 years in a Business Development role within the building material sector.
- Existing relationships and connections with decision-makers.
- Capable of actively seeking new work from warm or cold leads.
- Ability to create and implement continuous improvement ideas.
- Experience in the Construction/Building Service industry.
- Proven ability to build lasting relationships.
- Great communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work autonomously.
