About the role
Our Equipment Finance team is growing, to help support the growth of the team we are searching for another Business Development Manager to join us. You will be focusing your efforts on building relationships with new prospective referral partners to seek out finance referrals and leads. The relationships that you will be focusing on (but not limited to) will be predominately Dealers, Accountants, Small to Medium Businesses and other likeminded individuals that work with businesses themselves that buy and sell plant and equipment. You will have a company car, mobile phone and be on the road building your supplier/ referral portfolio. You will have plenty of support, with a large, expert Broker team behind you who will assist with processing applications and help manage your day-to-day referrals.
This role will require a strong work ethic, great communication skills and the drive to get our clients the best possible outcome. The successful candidate will be someone who takes pride in their work, disciplined in their work ethic, and have the motivation to deliver the best customer service and outcomes for all stakeholders both internally and externally to the team.
Qualifications & experience
- Experience in B2B sales.
- Experienced in dealing with New and Used Plant, Machinery and Equipment Dealers (not a must).
- Background in finance can be an advantage but not essential to the successful candidate.
