What you will do in the role
Primary
- Responsible for building and the execution of the overarching Pure Storage Business plan
- Drive net new Pure Storage sales by leading partner activation and targeted acquisition initiatives
- Drive deeper engagement and sales with existing transacting partners
- Deliver Pure Storage enablement & certification with partners and act as the evangelist and subject matter expert within the business
- Develop sales pipeline and provide weekly forecast
- Proactively review and manage renewals & installed base refresh
- Achieve /exceed set targets
General
- Maintain and continually update knowledge of Pure Storage technology, products, best practices, trends, by consulting technical literature, attendance at Pure Storage events and conferences on an ongoing basis, and disseminate this knowledge to the rest of the product and sales teams
- Maintain and add qualifications/certifications that align to Pure Storage’s hardware & services portfolio as required.
- Meet KPIs/MBOs as defined on a quarterly basis by Pure Storage and Dicker Data.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Always present a professional image to Resellers and Vendors.
- Develop strong relationships with all BDMS, territory managers and sales teams.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of the Storage market to help identify resellers and target them for growth strategies and monitor the success of initiatives arising from territory plan.
- Attend Reseller and Vendor social and training events, which may be out of normal hours.
What you will need to succeed in the role
- Strong knowledge of Pure Storage’s product offerings and partner programs
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent presentation/ training skills and experience
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proactive orientation
- High level of discipline, initiative, and enthusiasm
- Able to work well in a team as well as autonomously.
- Intermediate MS Office proficiency
- Strong relationship-building skills with demonstrated ability to communicate and foster positive relationships with internal staff and with all levels of customer and vendor contacts.
